Dr. Nirit Bourla, M.D.

Dr. Bourla graduated from the Ben Gurion University and Joyce and Irving Goldman School of Medicine in Israel. She specialized in ophthalmology at Sheba Medical Center in the Goldschleger Eye Institute, and sub-specialized in corneal disease and surgery at UCLA in the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California. During her training, Dr. Bourla specialized in corneal disease, corneal surgery, laser refractive surgery, anterior segment reconstructive surgery, and diverse cataract surgery. Dr. Bourla is head of the Cataract Service at Sheba Medical Center – Tel Hashomer.

Dr. Dan Chaim Bourla, M.D.

Dr. Dan Bourla graduated from the Ben Gurion University and Joyce and Irving Goldman School of Medicine in Israel. He specialized in ophthalmology at Rabin Medical Center, and sub-specialized in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at UCLA in the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Bourla is a leading expert in vitreoretinal disease and surgery and has published and presented numerous articles, abstracts, and reports in professional journals and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Oded Ben-Chaim, M.D.

Dr. Ben-Chaim was born in Israel. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Tel Aviv, and specialized in ophthalmology at Sheba Medical Center in Tel-Hashomer. Dr. Ben-Chaim sub-specialized in cataract and refractive surgery and has performed thousands of surgical procedures in patients of all ages. Dr. Ben-Chain is a pioneer in the field of phacoemulsification surgery and is one of the first surgeons worldwide to specialize in implanting multifocal intraocular lenses since 1991.
